Thailand police seize 24,656 pairs of counterfeit-branded pants

BANGKOK: One person was arrested and more than 2 million baht in knockoff jeans seized in Nakon Ratchasima’s Muang district, police said here the other day.

Chaiwichit Pankalasin, 32, a resident of Sakon Nakhon’s Charoen Sin district, was caught after police stopped his six-wheeled truck at a road checkpoint beneath the Ban Nong Kradang-nga elevated bridge on Mittaparb Road.
