When they pulled back the tarpaulin, they found 720,000 methamphetamine poills inside six fertiliser sacks.

The driver, Thanadol Jaimasit, 33, of Lamphun, was detained and handed over to Doi Luang police station for legal action.

In Muang district, a teenager was apprehended and 98,000 speed pills seized from him on Tuesday.

A combined team of Pha Muang task force soldiers and local police arrested the 18-year-old suspect (name withheld) near Wat Takhian.

Both suspects were present at a police press conference on Wednesday.
