The Master Chief Collection matchmaking, announces Halo 4 & Team Hardcore playlists

TOKYO: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking, 343 Industries has announced Halo 4 and Team Hardcore playlists are now available in Halo.

“Team Hardcore currently includes Halo 2 Classic game types,” explained the developer on Halo Waypoint. “Halo 3 tournament-approved game types will be integrated in a future update.”

343 Industries says that “other fan favourite playlists are also in the works, including Team Snipers, Team Doubles, and an objective-only playlist.” Expect more details soon.

Beyond that, 343 is targeting a “late weekend” release. It will include “improvements to UI, Matchmaking, game-specific multiplayer items, controls, and more.”

The full patch notes will be released once the update has cleared the certification process.
