ATHENS: Three Greek nationals aged 50, 51 and 54, were facing charges over drug smuggling and arms possession, authorities said.
According to police, officers arrested the 51-year-old and the 54-year-old on the holiday island of Mykonos, while the former was allegedly supplying the latter with cocaine.
A raid on the 51-year-old suspect’s home led to the discovery of a sizable quantity of the drug. Drugs were also found in his 50-year-old brother’s motorcycle.
The latter was located and arrested in Athens and found to be keeping narcotic substances, including cannabis, heroin and cocaine, as well as two handguns, in three different apartments.
