Three blasts outside Peshawar Customs official’s house stir panic

PESHAWAR: Three blasts took place outside the house of a Pakistan Customs official, Jahangir, in Ghani Rehman Kalay area of Peshawar early on Friday.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blasts. One of the three explosions was caused by a timing device while the other two occurred after hand grenades were hurled at the house, sources said.

According to the police, the house and a car parked nearby were damaged due to the explosions. Investigations have been launched into multiple bombings. Bomb disposal officials confirmed collecting samples from the site for further inquiry.
