Three Customs officers suspended

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended three officers, including a Superintendent, for three months with immediate effect.

The competent authority, exercising powers conferred upon it under Rule 5(1) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) rules, 1973, has suspended two BS-16 officers of MCC Preventive Karachi, including Senior Preventive Officer Nazir Ahmad Qureshi and Preventive Officer Ahmed Azeem. The authority also suspended Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation, Islamabad, Superintendent Siraj ul Islam.
