Three held for extorting money

LAHORE: Faisalabad Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three accused for extorting money from citizens on the pretext of sending them abroad for jobs.

According to FIA spokesman, Azhar Jeellani, resident of Rawalpindi,extorted Rs12,00,000 from complainant Mubashir Abbas of Jhang for overseas employment to USA. Another accused Abbas, Jan Masih, resident of Agriculture University, residential Faisalabad, extorted Rs140,000 from a complainant Wasim Tahir Masih for employment in Dubai.
