The officers, including Sajjad Haider Khan, Naushad Ali Khan and Salim Raza Asif, in compliance of Board’s Notifications No. 2508-IR-I/2016 dated 14.10.2016, have been from their duties to join their new place of postings.

Earlier, Sajjad Haider Khan was transferred from Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Islamabad to RTO Islamabad; Naushad Ali Khan from Chief Commissioner RTO Islamabad to Chief Commissioner LTU Islamabad and Salim Raza Asif from Chief Commissioner RTO Multan to DG Directorate General of Law, Islamabad.

FBR spokesperson Dr Muhammad Iqbal said that it is not unusual to issue notifications for relieving officials from their duties, who had been given new assignments. He said that FBR had transferred and posted these officials, but they have not joined their new place of postings in line with the FBR’s notifications, due to which FBR issued a notification to relieve them from their duties.
