ISLAMABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has challand 288 vehicles during general hold up against the token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles.
According to details, the Excise Rawalpindi conduct operations in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal and Attock against the token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles.
On the direction of Director Excise and Taxation Rawalpindi Tanveer abbas Gondal, special teams are taking part in the general hold up in all districts and will support the districts excise department in this regard.
Sources added that the teams have challanned at least 288 vehicles for token tax non-registration of vehicles during this months while recovered Rs 0.3 million.
