TOKYO: Tokyo shares have finished 1.00 per cent higher as Japan Post shares jumped again.
But Takata dived for a second session after Honda dumped the crisis-hit airbag giant as a supplier.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange won 189.50 points to 19,116.41, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares closed up 0.95 per cent, or 14.67 points, to 1,555.10.
