Torkham customs fetches Rs195.39 taxes during February’s 15 days

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Station Torkham generated Rs195.39million all duty taxes during the initial 15 days of February FY2016-17.

According to Additional Deputy Collector Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar Fazle Samad, the Torkham Customs Station collected Rs33.09million customs duty and earned Rs0.29million miscellaneous surcharges from 1st to February 15.

During above said period, the station collected Rs1.0million redemption duty while it earned Rs2.55million Pakistan Export Development Surcharge whereas Torkham station earned Rs65.25million sales tax.

During above said period, the Torkham received Rs9.20million sales tax on imports and it earned Rs40.93million additional income tax. The Torkham got Rs43.11million AIT on exports.
