TORKHAM: The Customs Station Torkham generated Rs235.15million of all duties and taxes during the 1st to 15th of September FY17-18.
This was told by sources of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad while talking with Customs Today.
The sources told CT that, during above said period, the Torkham collected Rs74.10million of Customs Duty (CD) while it did Rs2.24million as miscellaneous taxes.
During 1st to 15th of September FY17-18, the Torkham received Rs0.40million as Redemption Duty (RD) on Imports whereas it did Rs0.23million of Extra Development Surcharge (EDS) Pak.
Torkham Customs Station got Rs43.75million of Sales Tax (ST) while it did Rs6.84million as ST VM on Imports and the said station generated Rs81.54million of Additional Income Tax (AIT). The sources added that Torkham earned Rs23.05million as AIT on Exports during initial 15 days of September FY17-18.
The Customs Station Torkham at Pak-Afghan border received Rs233.07million of all duties and taxes during initial 15 days of August FY2017-18.
