Torkham Station tops all AIT collections with Rs198.32m during January

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Station Torkham topped all the collections of Additional Income Tax (AIT) with Rs198.32million while Peshawar Dry Port stayed second with Rs113.27million during January FY2016-17. All the Customs Stations of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar received Rs381.65millions AIT during the month of January FY2016-17.

According to details told by Collector MCC Peshawar Qurban Ali Khan that performance has been satisfactory during January FY2016-17 under the head of the AIT. During above said period, the dry port generated Rs113.27million AIT whereas the bonded ware house got Rs21.33million. The Peshawar International Airport earned Rs3.88million AIT. During January FY2016-17, the Customs Station Hazara received Rs12.35 million.

During above said month, the Kohat State Ware House got Rs29.56million AIT while Torkham collected Rs198.32million AIT. The MCC Peshawar Auction Cell collected Rs1.66million and the State ware House Peshawar did Rs0.86million under the same head.

During above said period, the Customs Station Assessment Cell received Rs0.02million whereas the International Mail Office (IMO) Peshawar did Rs0.06 million. The Customs Station Khapakh got Rs0.07million and Kohat Auction Cell did Rs0.27million AIT during January FY2016-17.
