TOKYO: Toyota is recalling more than 112,000 newer model cars due to two separate safety issues.
First, the company is recalling Camry’s and Highlander’s from the 2015 model year, as well as RAV 4 cars from the 2014 to 2015 model year.
Toyota says the vehicles may have damage causing a loss of power steering assist.
It’s also recalling some RAV 4 EV cars from 2012 to 2014.
Officials say that’s because the car can shift itself into neutral which increases the risk of a crash.
