TPK Holding sees decreased November revenues

WASHINGTON: Touch panel maker TPK Holding has reported consolidated revenues of NT$7.672 billion (US$241 million) for November, decreasing 7.73% on month and 39.00% on year, and those of NT$80.480 billion for January-November dipped 29.13% on year.

The November revenues dropped partly due to decreased orders for touch panels used in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.TPK has begun to ship OLED Touch Bar touch panels used in new MacBook Pro models, with OLED panels supplied by Samsung Display and touch sensors by TPK and Hong Kong-based Biel Crystal Manufactory as well as lamination exclusively undertaken by TPK. Shipments of OLED Touch Bar touch panels are expected to significantly increase in the first quarter of 2017.
