ISLAMABAD: Traders Action Committee has urged for a balanced rent control act in Islamabad, which would greatly reduce and resolve the rental related issues of traders of the federal capital.
Secretary Traders Action Committee and former senior vice President Islamabad chamber of commerce and Industry (ICCI) Khalid Choudhry stated this at a meeting with representatives of different markets at chamber house,said in statement issued by TAC here.
He was of the view that in the absence of the balanced and justified rent control act, Islamabad became most expensive city of Pakistan.
He added that frequency of disputes are rising day by day in city and business community’s feels in secure in such environment. He also appealed to the ICT Administration to ban on forced ejectment to new law in Islamabad.
Khalid choudhry also said rent control act and residential facilities for small traders were the barring issues of the local traders.
