KARACHI: All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders and Cottage Industries President Mehmood Hamid and other office-bearers have strongly condemned robberies at 12 shops in Iqbal Market and Orangi.
In a joint statement on Friday, Mehmood Hamid, Usman Sharif, Abdul Majid, Muhammad Naveed and Saleem Malik said that the robberies had caused huge financial loss to the traders and no arrests were made yet.
They claimed dozens of shops were robbed in Impress Market, Urdu Bazaar, Jami Centre, Jama Cloth and Babar Market Landhi. The traders have demanded from the government to take stern action against the criminals.
