Traders to hold convention today against 0.3% WHT

LAHORE: All Pakistan traders to hold convention against levy 0.3 percent withholding tax on banking transactions today on 24 July, 2015 traders will also discuss issues related to FBR and will finalize strategy for future.

Naeem Mir will organize the convention, talking to Customs Today Mir said that no single person has authority for the decisions of traders’ community, and traders makes their decision after consultation with entire traders community.

He said traders are facing tough situation due to mistake by FBR, he said government should control the corruption this will help a lot to expand tax net. He said a simplified tax system should be adopted to facilitate traders.

Jameel Paracha from Karachi, Abdur Rahim from Balochistan, Haji Haleem Jan from KPK, Chairman all Pakistan traders Khawaja Muhammad Shafique, president Ajmal Baloch, Chaudhary Mehmood, Khawaja Aamir, president car dealers association Shahzada Saleem and other will participate in trader convention.
