Former Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) president Abdul Rauf administered oath to the newly elected office-bearers of the TWA.

TWA President Raja Fiaz, General Secretary Ali Shan, Senior Vice President Muhammad Aziz Baloch, Finance Secretary Nauman Mukhtar Bhatti, Secretary Coordination Raja Saad Akhtar, Secretary Information Asif Aziz Bhatti, Chairman Nadeem Ahsan Bhatti, Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Hussain Toori, Vice Chairman Raja Amir Riaz, Patron-in-Chief Arshad Khan and Chief Dr Arshad took oath.

Raja Fiaz highlighted the issues being faced by the traders. He said I-8 was one of the modern sectors of the federal capital, but was facing many problems. The area was facing water shortage as the tube wells were not working and commercial areas of the sector were without public toilets.

TWA Acting Central Organising Secretary Khalid Chaudhry said that traders were united; however, some “vested interests” were trying to sabotage their unity. He vowed that all such efforts would be foiled. He said soon a meeting of the local traders would be called to discuss their important issues.
