LAHORE: Samjhota Express train service which was suspended on Monday due to security concerns in the wake of Haryana riots left here Thursday morning for India carrying 140 passengers under strict security arrangements.
It may be mentioned that Dosti Bus Service and Samjhota Express were suspended on the request of India in the wake of deadly caste violence in India’s Haryana that killed many people and injured more than 150 others. Lahore-Delhi `Dosti Bus Service’ resumed operation from Wednesday.
