ISLAMABAD: All the officers of Inland Revenue Service, who have still not joined their new place of postings, have been relieved from their duties with immediate effect to join their new place of postings.
The competent authority has directed all the Chief Commissioners (IR)/Director Generals (IR) to ensure compliance of the instructions. The authority has also warned that any legal or administrative proceedings/correspondence undertaken by the above mentioned officers at their previous positions after February 27 will be treated as illegal and respective RTOs/Directorate Generals will be responsible for repercussions.
Meanwhile, Mushtaq Hussain Qureshi, Federal Treasury Officer (BS-18) presently posted at Data Processing Centre (IR), Rawalpindi, has been repatriated to Auditor General of Pakistan, Islamabad with immediate effect.
