Transit Trade DG reviews Vehicles contract 2017

KARACHI: Directorate General of Transit Trade has reviewed the bids for Transit Vehicles contract 2017 and announcement of the decision is expected soon.

According to sources, the directorate opened the bidding for Transit Vehicle Contract 2017 in the first week of December 2016. To make the tracking process transparent, the directorate will finalize it in three phases.

In the first phase the directorate will short-list five companies out of all the received bids. Three days after the first phase, the directorate will short-list three companies out of five. In the third phase, the directorate will examine the available resources to short-listed companies before making a final decision.

Sources told Customs Today that M/s TPL is assisting the directorate in tracking process. Over all 36 companies have submitted their bids for the contract and the directorate will select a company with the advanced tracking system.
