Transparency in tax system priority of Punjab govt: Ayesha Pasha

LAHORE: Provincial Finance Minster Punjab Dr Ayesha Ghaus Pasha has said that transparency in tax system is the first priority of the Punjab government. She said that it is need of the hour to make tax system transparent to achieve revenue target.

Presiding over a meeting in Civil Secretariat, she said that the Punjab government is taking a number of measures to increase local production and enhance employment opportunities.

She directed the all concerned officials to use all available resources to bring more and more people under tax net. She said that due to hard work of Punjab government we are optimistic to achieve revenue target set for Fiscal Year 2015-16

Also present in themeeting with Secretary Punjab Board of Revenue, Secretary Finance, Secretary Excise and Taxation, Secretary Agriculture, Secretary Irrigation, Chairman Punjab IT Board.
