Transporters call off strike at Torkham border

LANDI KOTAL: The transporters have called off their strike against tax imposition after officials of both Pakistan and Afghanistan assured them of addressing their grievances.

According to the Torkham border officials, transporters from both the countries agreed to form a joint committee for holding detailed negotiations with the government officials both in Islamabad and Kabul.
