Tribunal dismisses case of Saigol Qingqi versus Customs Appeals

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal dismissed a case of Saigol Qingqi Motors versus Collectorate of Customs Appeals Lahore.

According to details, M/s. Saigol Quingqi Motors have filed a case in Customs Appellate Tribunal against the collectorate of Customs Appeals and Collector Customs MCC Lahore.

Appellant argued in application that he was importing some Qingqi motorcycle kits and demands concessionary rates of customs duty under SRO (1)/2001.

The same case was heard by Collector Custom Appeals who issued decision against Saigol Qingqi motors after this the case have been filed in Customs Appellate Tribunal.

The Tribunal Member Technical Bench I Khawaja Omer Mehdi heard the case and after hearing arguments from both sides dismissed the case and issued verdict that appellant failed any illegality in impugned order passed by Customs Appeals so the same order remains intact.
