KARACHI: Karachi Goods Carrier Association General Secretary Muhammad Shoaib on Friday urged the customs intelligence and investigation and IR officials not to stop their vehicles without “good reasons”.

He said they have made several complaints via Customs Today but the officials concerned had not taken action in this regard. He said they have written letters to FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa and other high-ups, but the complaint persists. He said they were playing a vital role in the country’s economy. He urged the government to give heed to their problems or else they would be forced to close down their businesses.
