LAHORE: Following the arrest of a Czech model at the Lahore airport carrying nine kilograms of heroin, the investigators from three law enforcement agencies are reportedly engaged in a ‘Tug of War over the custody of the woman.

The customs officials caught a 21-year-old lady identified as Tereza Hluskova who was travelling to Ireland via Abu Dhabi. The model was held after she secretly passed through two Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) checking counters at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. She was shifted to Customs House after the officials refused to hand her over to the ANF.

The ANF and Airport Security Force (ASF) are struggling hard to get the model’s custody for interrogation. Both departments have also written the official letters to each other over the matter.

The situation has aggravated to such an extent that officers from these departments have started doing legal research, leaving behind all the departmental work, just to ascertain who could win the woman’s custody.

According to the bylaws, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) holds the right to detain and investigate the woman in this case.

Tereza, a famous Czech model, was in Pakistan on a three-month family visit visa issued on November 15 and valid till February 14.
