ANKARA: Turkcell Group revenues grew 8.8 percent to TRY 3.659 billion in the third quarter, in line with full-year guidance. EBITDA rose 4.9 percent to TRY 1.218 billion, with an EBITDA margin of 33.3 percent. Group proforma net income was up 4.2 percent to TRY 705 million. Turkcell Turkey’s revenues increased 7.9 percent to TRY 3.276 billion.
During the third quarter, the total number of subscribers in the five countries where Turkcell Group has direct operations reached 49.7 million, of whom 34.84 million were subscribers from Turkey; that’s 2.8 percent down year-on-year.
