ANKARA: In February 2016 wheat bran production reached 54.6 KMT which was 11.5% more than in February 2015. Since the beginning of 2016 (January-February) Ukraine produced 98.9 KMT of wheat bran compared with 90.2 KMT over the same period of 2015.
Ukrainian wheat bran exports also continued to increase. Since the beginning of the current season (July-February) Ukraine exported 416.5 KMT. This is 8% more than during the same period of 2014/15 (385.5 KMT). Turkey imported 77% of total export volume. In February Morocco resumed purchases of Ukrainian wheat brans and took 6.5 KMT.
