ANKARA: Ukrainian exporters somewhat boosted wheat bran shipments from the country in early 2017, but this nevertheless did not offset their lag behind last year, UkrAgroConsult notes. So, Ukraine exported 388.8 KMT of wheat bran in the eight months of the current season, or down 6.7% from the same time last season.
As previously, the top importer of Ukrainian wheat bran is Turkey. Remarkably, its export share increased substantially this season – to 97% from at most 87% before. Supplies to Turkey totaled 375.7 KMT in the first eight months of 2016/17, or 16.6% more than exported at the same time in MY 2015/16.
