ANKARA: Turkey’s annual consumer price inflation climbed to an 8-year high of 11.87 percent in April, the Turkish Statistics Institute said on Wednesday. Consumer prices rose 1.31 percent from the previous month, the data showed, in line with the 1.3 percent increase predicted by a Reuters poll. Producer prices rose 16.37 percent year-on-year in April, and were up 0.76 percent month-on-month, the data showed.
