ANKARA: The Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) organized a Turkish Visitor Program, in collaboration with HRD Antwerp and the Borsa Istanbul, for May 4 to 7 during which a top delegation of Turkish diamond jewelers, jewelry wholesalers and manufacturers will visit Antwerp.

AWDC explained that this event will provide ample opportunity for local traders to expand their business contacts with those in Turkey.  Specifically, the AWDC said that diamond sales in Turkey have been increasing at a healthy clip due to an emerging middle class, a general increase in disposable income among women and a decrease in unemployment.
