ANKARA: Turkish domestic scrap prices continued to increase this week, in line with rising imported scrap values and firm domestic finished steel demand, sources said on Monday July 10.
Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for domestic auto bundle (DKP grade) scrap in Turkey was TRY940-1,050 ($260-290) per tonne delivered, up from TRY915-1,025 ($253-284) per tonne of last week. Turkish mills have mostly increased their scrap buying prices by TRY20-40 ($6-11) over the past week.
