Fatih Erkul of Aydin Chamber of Commerce while discussing with the Gambian groups, led by Musa Amul Nyassi, the deputy governor of West Coast Region, expressed their eagerness to invest in The Gambia, as long as they are provided with a firsthand information on the areas they want to invest in.

He disclosed that during their visit to The Gambia in February this year, they were opportune to meet their Gambian counterparts and discussed pertinent issues that will help improve the agricultural sector in The Gambia.

Erkul informed the Gambian delegates that during their visit in The Gambia, some Gambian investors expressed interest in Turkish products, thus if everything is in place they will start exporting those products into The Gambia.

For his part, Musa Amul Nyassi, the deputy governor of West Coast Region, was overwhelmed by the hospitality accorded them by the Turkish people, since their arrival in the country. This, he said is a testimony of a fruitful relationship between the two brotherly nations of Ankara and Banjul.
