ANKARA: Turkey’s current account deficit grew to $5.24 billion in May, widening from $3.1 billion a year earlier, central bank data showed on Thursday, exceeding a Reuters poll forecast of a $4.9 billion deficit. In April, the current account deficit was $3.615 billion. In 2016 Turkey’s current account deficit was $32.62 billion.
