Turkish scrap import prices surge to $261 per tonne during last week

ANKARA: Turkish HMS 1/2 80:20 scrap import prices advanced by $4 a ton week-on-week t0 $261 a ton during last week, as per the Steel Index.

Meanwhile, the daily benchmark prices for deep-sea Turkish imports of HMS #1&2 80:20 finished last week $5 a ton higher than the previous Friday at $262 a ton CFR Iskenderun port.
