TVS Motor launches special edition of XL Super

NEW DELHI: TVS Motor has introduced a special edition of XL Super to commemorate the crossing of one crore sales mark by the company’s popular moped.

XL Super, which was conceived by TVS Motor’s (Late) Chairman T S Srinivasan and current Chairman Venu Srinivasan, was launched in 1980.

“In celebration of crossing the milestone one crore mark in sales, TVS Motor Company has introduced special edition of TVS XL Super. The new variant will come in two colours, Silver Grey and Titanium Grey, which have been specially created,” Chennai-based TVS Motor said in a statement.

The company has launched the moped with special graphics, dual texture seat and chrome plated grab rail. It would also carry a specially designed one crore celebration sticker.

“What began as a dream to give people a reliable and robust two-wheeler for the family which was simultaneously affordable, has gradually grown to become one of the few brands that since inception has sold more than one crore in the country,” TVS Motor President and CEO K N Radhakrishnan said.

“It is much sought after vehicle for personal mobility by people all over the country and overseas,” he said.

The special edition TVS XL Super will be available in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka, the statement said.
