20 customs officials to get certificates of merit on Int’l Customs Day

ISLAMABAD: The Revenue Division, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Customs wing, have announced that 20 customs officials will receive certificates of merit on the International Customs Day, due to be held on 26th of January 2017.

According to details, following officers of the Pakistan Customs have been nominated for the World Customs Organization’s (WCO) certificates of merit.

The officers nominated include Muhammad Zubair, Chief International Customs, FBR, Jamil Ahmed Baloch, Secretary Customs, MGT, FBR, Zeeba Azhar, Director, DGTR, Karachi, Dr. Tahir Kureshi, Additional Collector, MCC, Port Qasim, Exports, Haris Ansari, MCC Appeasement, East Karachi, Kanwal Ali, Deputy Director, DGTR, Lahore, Rizwan Bashir, Deputy Director, Valuation, Karachi, Nazia Saleem, Deputy Collector, MCC, Appeasement, Lahore, Naghma-e-Tehniat, Deputy Collector, BBIAI, MCC, Islamabad, Yawar Nawaz, Deputy Collector, MCC, Exports, Karachi, Aftab Ullah Shah, Deputy Collector, MCC, Gawadar, Sohail Ahmed Kureishi, Superintendent, MCC, Islamabad, Waqarudin Qureishi, Principal Appraiser, I&I, Karachi, Aziz Sarwar, Principal Appraiser, MCC, Port Qasim, Karachi, Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Inspector, MCC, Peshawar, GN Zafar, Appraising Officer, MCC, Preventive, Lahore, Muhammad Shameem Akhtar, SPO, MCC, Preventive, Karachi, Azeem Manzoor, Appraising Officer, MCC, Islamabad, Muhammad Imran, Appraising Officer, PCA, Lahore, and Irshad Ahmed, A.O, MCC, Appraisement-West Karachi.

The sources said officers posted at Islamabad and Peshawar will receive certificates at Islamabad, those posted at Karachi and Gawadar will receive certificates at Karachi and those posted in Lahore will receive certificates in a ceremony to be held at Lahore.
