Two Auditors suspended for 3 months

ISLAMABAD: The competent authority has suspended two officers of BS-16 for a period of three months.

The authority, exercising powers conferred upon it under section 5(i) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules,1973, suspended Javed Iqbal Anjum and Abdul Khaliq, presently posted as Auditors, Regional Tax Office, Faisalabad, with immediate effect for a period of three months.

Meanwhile, ex-Pakistan leave, granted to Samina Tasleem Zohra (Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-19), had further been extended for 37 days from December 23, 2014 to January 28, 2015 on EOL ex-Pakistan. The officer has now assumed the charge of the post of Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad.
