QUETTA: Two Pakistan Customs officials were shot dead and another official was critically wounded in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Monday.
Mastung Deputy Commissioner Captain (r) Farraukh Atiq said that the armed men opened fire at a customs vehicle in the Shamsabad area of Mastung city. The two officials died immediately, while the injured official was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for medical treatment, he added.
The assailants escaped from the scene of the attack without facing any resistance. Law-enforcement personnel reached the spot of the attack and started an investigation into the incident.
