Two drug traffickers jailed

FAISALABAD: Additional Session Judge Zafar Hussain Bhatti Tuesday awarded imprisonment and imposed fine on two drug pushers involved in a narcotics case of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) police station.

According to the prosecution, the ANF arrested drug traffickers Gulzar Manzoor of Peshawar and recovered 1.500 kilogram narcotics from his possession whereas 950 grams narcotics were recovered from the possession of another drug peddler Ramzan.

Deciding the case, the learned judge awarded 34 months imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000 to accused Gulzar Manzoor and 4 months imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 500 to accused Ramzan.

The convicts will have to undergo an additional imprisonment of three months and five days respectively if they failed to pay fine.
