Two held for violating copyrights ordinance

LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed on Wednesday to have arrested two persons for violating copyright ordinance and seized huge quantity of books.

According to FIA spokesman, a team of FIA Lahore, on a complaint of Irfan Hussain of M/S Darul Isha’at Urdu Bazaar, Karachi conducted a raid at Maktaba tul Furqan and its godown in Urdu Bazaar Lahore and arrested two persons Iman and Abid for selling printed books of “Muaarful Hadis”. The team seized huge quantity of books. An FIR have been registered against the accused.
