LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested two persons for receiving money from the complainants fraudulently.
According to FIA spokesman, one Muhammad Sarwar, a resident of Karak Muhammadi Bhuwana District Chiniot, received Rs 550,000 from Muhammad Zafar of Chiniot for sending him to Saudi Arabia for employment.
In another case, one Muhammad Iqbal of Nawan Pind Noshera Virkan, Sheikhupura, received Rs 1,200,000 from complainant Shahid Mehboob for employment in Italy. However, later on both accused neither sent the complainnats abroad nor returned their money. Separate FIRs were lodged against the accused.
