The arrest was made during a raid in Lahore on the basis of information provided by the Czech national during interrogation. The accused has been identified as Shoaib who works as a property dealer.

The suspect told the interrogators that another man, Aftab, was also a member of the group. Another accused has been also arrested from Gujarat, allegedly involved as a facilitator in heroin smuggling. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the third suspect who is still at large.

A source told Customs Today that customs officials have also summoned the car driver who dropped Tereza Hluskova at the airport. In addition, all the surveillance cameras installed at the airport are being examined for more information.

The Czech national was caught trying to smuggle nine kilograms of heroin over a week ago at the Lahore airport.

Tereza Hluskova, 21, was about to leave for Abu Dhabi when a customs official found heroin concealed in her luggage.
