A U.K. government watchdog slammed the tax office for poor handling of Brexit preparations.
In its annual report, the Public Accounts Committee, a bipartisan panel made up of lawmakers who review government spending, criticized Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs for lack of communication with businesses that could be adversely affected if the U.K. leaves the European Union without a deal.
