LONDON: U.K. inflation will accelerate faster than previously anticipated, according to economists in Bloomberg’s latest monthly survey. They now see it peaking in the third quarter and easing somewhat earlier, though inflation will still be above the Bank of England’s 2 percent target for the period covered by the survey. The median estimate is for the rate to reach 2.8 percent, though some see it pushing well above 3 percent by the end of this year.
