UBG’s Abdul Rauf gets IWCCI’s support in FPCCI elections

ISLAMABAD: A prominent women chamber has announced to support to the United Business Group (UBG) in the upcoming elections of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) Founder President Samina Fazil and President Mumtaz Akhtar announced unconditional support for UBG presidential candidate Abdul Rauf Alam.

They said that the UBG leaders SM Muneer and Iftikhar Ali Malik possess exceptional qualities and they have devoted their lives to promote the business community of Pakistan. They also said this while speaking to a group of delegation of ICCI led by Abdul Rauf Alam and President of ICCI Atif Ikram Sheikh.

VP FPCCI Mian Akram Farid, Chairman Coordination FPCCI Malik Sohail Hussain, former President FPCCI Malik Zubair and other were also present on the occasion.

Alam said that Pakistan cannot progress without including women in the national mainstream. He said that FPCCI will try its best to get plot for IWCCI building and start construction and establish a display centre for women artisans.

He said that we are trying to improve capacity of businesswomen and promote them. He said that we are proud of the services of Samina Fazil and her team for promotion of women entrepreneurs.
