KARACHI: An Upper Division Clerk in directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi Amir Bux Thebo has been given a show cause notice for his continued absence from his duty, not replying the explanation memos issued several times and remaining absent without any valid reasons or sanctions of leave,
The show cause notice was issued by Additional Director Directorate General of Customs Valuation Muhammad Iqbal Muneeb under Rule 5 of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973.
The notice further stated that if Amir Bux Thebo does not appear within the stipulated period of 14 days, an ex-parte decision shall be taken in his case which could be the dismissal from service.
