NOTTINGHAM: Trading Standards officers have seized a number of goods suspected to be either counterfeit or unsafe on the first day of Nottingham’s Goose Fair.
Fifty boxes of Dr Dre headphones and earphones, 10 cuddly toy tigers, 10 sets of plastic flashing teeth and 10 air horns have been taken away by officials to be examined.
Nottingham City Council’s Trading Standards officers are conducting regular checks of the stalls to make sure the goods are legitimate.
Officers suspect that the headphones could be counterfeit and they will be examined by the trademark holder.
