LARNACA: Two Spanish nationals, a man and a woman, are under investigation after attempting to illegally take €95,000 out of Cyprus.
According to the police, the two were stopped at Larnaca Airport on Friday night where a subsequent search uncovered €50,000 on the man and €45,000 on the woman. The funds had not been declared.
The money was confiscated as evidence and the man and woman taken in for questioning.
